This was my second solar array self install. As you can see the site has some shading issues so I went with an Enphase microinverter based system (IQ 8A 366 Watt MC4 Micro Inverters). With regard to panels, I initially went with Q Cells (Q Cells Q.Peak Duo BLK ML-G10+ 400) because of their higher output capability and reputation, but when looking at the panels their aesthetics were a definite plus.

My house is an old funky cottage yet these new sleek panels without all the silver lattice, really looks nice. The heron certainly seemed to approve of the rooftop solar array. The permit ready plans from EcoDirect made the process of getting a permit really easy.
